Artwork Guidelines for Printing & Embroidery

Prepare Your Artwork the Right Way

Your artwork is the foundation of every printed or embroidered product we create. Whether you are ordering personalised workwear, uniforms, or promotional clothing, supplying the right artwork helps us deliver crisp prints, vibrant colours, and professional finishes. We know you don’t want delays with your branded workwear order, and neither do we. By following the simple guidelines below, you will ensure your logo is properly prepared for garment application. This helps us speed up production and deliver your order to you as quickly as possible.

Artwork Guidelines for Print

Printing is perfect for full-colour graphics and detailed designs. To get the best results for your workwear or promotional products, please make sure your logos and artwork meet these requirements:

Upload files in either AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, TIFF, PS, JPG, or PNG format

Use the highest quality version of your artwork

Make sure the background is transparent

Use RGB or CMYK colour mode

Remove any unwanted shadows or borders

Artwork Guidelines for Embroidery

Embroidery uses thread rather than ink. This means the artwork often needs to be simplified. Your logo will be digitised and turned into stitches. To ensure the best results, please follow these simple guidelines:

Upload an AI, EPS, SVG, JPG, or PNG file format

Upload the highest quality version of your logo

Use bold shapes in your artwork

Use large text sizes for clean stitching

Avoid gradients and photographic images

Artwork Approval

Our artwork approval process ensures that nothing goes into production until you are completely satisfied with your design. First, you submit your artwork when placing an order, and our team reviews the files for quality, print or embroidery suitability, and any potential issues. If changes are needed, we adjust the artwork or discuss options with you.

Next, we send a digital proof showing how your design will look on the chosen products. This enables you to see your artwork in the selected position, size, and colours. You review it and request changes if needed. Once approved, your order goes into production. Finally, your finished products are carefully packed and delivered to your specified address.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is vector artwork?

Vector artwork is created using mathematical paths rather than pixels, allowing it to be resized without losing quality. Unlike photographs and raster images, vector files remain perfectly sharp when printed on the back of a hoodie.

Why does good artwork matter?

Submitting high-quality artwork is important because it helps us produce your order exactly as expected and helps avoid delays or unnecessary revisions. Print‑ready files give sharper print quality, cleaner embroidery, accurate brand colours, faster approval, fewer revisions, and better overall value. Poor artwork can cause problems such as blurry logos, incorrect colours, jagged edges, or text too small to embroider.

What if I only have a PNG or JPEG?

We can often work with high-resolution PNG or JPEG files. The preferred image resolution is between 300 DPI and 600 DPI.  Anything below 300 DPI will appear pixelated or blurry in print. If the quality isn't sufficient, we can discuss artwork preparation options.

Can you recreate my logo?

Yes. If your original artwork isn't available, our design team can recreate it in a professional vector format.

Can I change my artwork after approving the proof?

Changes may be possible before production starts. Once production has begun, changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs.

Will my printed colours exactly match my screen?

Screens display colours differently from printed materials. While we aim for the closest possible match, slight variations may occur depending on the print method and materials used.

Do you keep my artwork for future orders?

Yes. We retain artwork for repeat orders, making reordering quicker and more convenient.
